World Vision focuses on transforming lives and child sponsorship, emergencies, child protection and trafficking, improving incomes, indigenous Australians, maternal and child health, water, sanitation and hygiene, and climate change. World Vision provides relief in emergency situations and works on long-term community development projects to assist over 20 million people worldwide. Together, this work addresses the causes of poverty and helps people to move towards
self-sufficiency.
World Vision receives 71% of their funds from the Australian community, 12% from the Australian Government, and 17% from other sources. World Vision receive funds from generous everyday citizens through appeals and programs. World Vision spends 79.5% of its funds on its work, 13.4% on fundraising, and 7.1% on administration.
